An experimental journey of acrylics, inks, collage, mixed media, oil pastels and much more! Use different materials every week and learn new skills and techniques. Every week will have an emphasis on the formal elements of art (tone, line, scale and proportion, perspective etc)

Landscape Paintings
Britain is so beautiful…it just has to be painted! I use many different materials, but especially love the richness of oils, but also the convenience of acrylics and inks.
Felt and Stitch
Wonderful Wool! Many of the landscapes and still life I paint get transferred into felted pieces. Using the knowledge of tone and light, it’s just like painting with wool.
Cards and Print
Many of my original pieces are also available as giclee prints, which can be framed, unframed or simply purchased as cards.
My Story
Originally from Warwickshire, with a degree in Illustration, and a teaching qualification. I have taught a whole variety of Art based subjects to all ages and abilities for many years in schools.
A few years ago I decided to start teaching independently from home…
Okehampton Based
…I moved to Okehampton just over three years ago and I am currently renovating our home…which is almost finally finished! This is a base for artist workshops, private tuition and has a studio to produce some wonderful artwork. There is a beautiful Air B and B currently listed as Ash View Basement Apartment, Okehampton where workshops and tuition can be combined with an overnight stay.
